Maneuver Drive

The Maneuver Drive, or Thruster as it is normally called, is a reactionless drive that takes electrity and produces accelaration ln realspace. A properly made thruster will work safely within an atmosphere or in deep space. It has been used safely on children’s toys such as the fast hoverboard, and common vehicles such as most sports floaters. And of course it is used in most space ships.

Thrusters work purely by gavitics. Space is warped around the cylindrical thruster such that when enough power is provided, the thruster falls forward into its own gravity well.

It is not currently possible to have the thruster inside rhe ship so they are put on pylons outside the ship.

It is possible to make a hyperdrive act like a thruster, though it is less maneuverable.
